The Speedry provides unparalleled professional drying speed

The Speedry is a unique rapid drying system designed for professionals to dry flood damaged property. Using an innovative controlled warm-air process, the Speedry provides a host of inspired features including KWh metering, data logging and easy to generate graphs. SME texting facilities and infra-red humidity probes capable of communicating the remaining moisture levels at specific points on walls and floors, complete this highly efficient product.

Here is how...

  1. The principle of the Speedry is very simple. The user sets the maximum room temperature permissible during the drying project,as well as the maximum and minimum % RH limits - particularly useful when drying much older properties, or those with unusually sensitive timbers or materials. The key switch is then turned to 'lock' and the key can be removed, rendering all dials and controls fixed at their settings until the key is re-inserted.
  2. The Speedry then enters 'recirculation mode', pre-conditioning the rooms atmosphere by drawing in air from within the room, filtering, heating it and releasing it into the room until the above drying criteria have been met and moisture begins to evaporate at an accelarated rate from the floors and walls. At this point, it enters into 'exhaust mode', where it begins to draw fresh air into the Speedry from outside the property, filter, heat and then releases it into the room. At the same time, air containing the evaporated moisture is drawn into the Speedry and expelled from the property.
  3. The Speedry then continuously monitors the humidity of the air going into and coming out of the system and by the use of highly specialised algorithms, can accurately and reliably determine, when the room can be deemed dry and will even text the operator, should the optional SMS package be included. We would always recommend however that the operator confirms he is satisfied with the dryness of the walls and floors by means of carbide testing or similar, as with any drying technology, before a certificate of drying is issued.
  4. In addition, optional wall and floor sensors can communicate, via infra-red, the dryness of specific points around the room to the Speedry.
  5. A data logging card automatically logs the progress of the drying project and can simply be inserted to the card reader (supplied), which then easily transfers data to the accompanying software enabling rapid production of graphs and data illustration for presentation to the client.
